Mapping the Landscape of Implicit Bias in STEM Education 

Academic achievement can be greatly influenced by an educator’s beliefs and attitudes around race/ethnicity.  My talk will discuss some of the inequalities that exist in STEM education, perpetuated by implicit biases and how educators can foster learning environments that are equitable, inclusive, and supportive for all learners.
